Spacious and cosy. Nice place to escape or hide from hectic. Freely roaming and do your own activity. Facilities maintained well, a lot of parking space. Located near free duty shop and just a walk away from Dayang walk. Got bookmark as freebies . Staffs very friendly and entrance fee is free

Interesting small art gallery.
I was there during the Langkawi Sebelum Bebas Cukai exhibition. It tells the history of Langawi with collection of clipping and photographs.
The gallery situated in a secluded housing area with plenty of street parking.

One of the highlights of our journey in Langkawi. Whilst, the artifacts on display is limited, the appreciation of the art is of the high level. Our appreciation to Cik Nurin whom have graciously received us and has gone beyond the call of duty in allowing us to use the surau. We will always remember ❤️ Thank you, Nurin 😊

The gallery is an off-short of the National Gallery in KL and the only one in the country. Exhibitions are temporary on a long-period basis (sometimes up to 6-months) and change periodically. Best to check their social media platform for current exhibition & program. Presently there is the "Langkawi: Before Duty-Free" and "International Marble Arts Camp 2019 & 2021" exhibition.

It was a pleasant experience for me. I especially love the mini library upstairs. It's comfy and I can imagine myself going there again just to visit the library to read or do my work. 🙂

Went for a Langkawi Sebelum 1987 exhibition. It was a good one, but wished it was more exciting. The arrangements of the photos are a bit dull. But the timeline graphics are very informative.
