Today 23 Sept 21.55pm, I had a funny encounter when a guy named Thomas approached me at the Premier Plus booth at JB Sentral. Steven, the manager, had been following up with me about the Senyum Residence, mentioning that there's a waiting list and this promo on early birds special. After he end his speech about the housing loan and waiting list. He asked me to put down RM500 to open my registration form about my details of phone number and address, and took photos of my MyKad ID. What shocked me was that he asked for bank transfer or credit card payment, even though he mentioned it was refundable. I felt pressured because I hadn't decided if I needed it or not. He kept emphasizing that the RM500 refundable deposit wasn't a big amount and told me not to worry, that the money would be refunded.
Additionally, despite mentioning PDPA protection, I'm unsure if he deleted the photos of my ID. I rejected the offer due to the rushed decision. I'm considering consulting my lawyer for further guidance and possibly filing a report at the police station.

Surprised by the number of questionable reviews here. We have yet to receive our deposit refund, even though it's been twice the promised one-month deadline. Despite multiple follow-ups, salesperson Chen En has been unresponsive, and even after escalating to the marketing manager, Hilton, all we received was a fake promise to "follow up".

If any lawyer is familiar with this kind of case and can assist with the legal process, please contact me.

Surprised at the number of fake reviews here. Could not get deposit refunded even after 50 days. Salesperson Chen En no response and even complain to marketing manager Hilton also just say will follow up. Any lawyer can help with legal process pls contact me.

Unresponsive and irresponsible property agent after confirmed on property purchase, there is no improvement at all even complained to their team leader. Please avoid this property agent company if you have other options.
