We were quite disappointed with our experience, especially since we were the only customers in the restaurant. The Italian minestrone tasted like canned soup, the baked fish fillet was overly oily, and the baked potato wasn’t even warm. The salad served with it was extremely cold and bland.

The steak didn’t taste fresh, and both the fries and salad on the side were poor in quality — the salad seemed boiled and had no flavor. We also ordered broccoli, which was never served, but honestly, based on the rest of the food, we didn’t feel like reminding the staff.

Overall, the meal felt carelessly prepared and not worth the price. We expected better quality and freshness, especially when the restaurant wasn’t busy.

We had a lovely leisure drive from our place in Balik Pulau to Batu Ferringhi. The Ship has always been a nostalgic spot for western cuisine, and this visit brought back great memories.

This time, we tried the lamb chop and chicken chop — both were delicious, especially the lamb chop. It was perfectly seasoned and didn’t even need any gravy. The meat was juicy and tender, pairing beautifully with the peppermint sauce.

Most of all, the manager was exceptionally friendly — kudos to the team for the warm service. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

We expect to have a good dining experience here but unfortunately, we encountered an impatient waiter. We asked a few more questions about how the chicken chop was prepared, and the waiter actually clicked his tongue in frustration. We were extremely dissatisfied, but since our child was very hungry, we chose to tolerate it.

The food was average in taste, and the presentation didn’t justify the price. If it hadn’t been raining that night, and if our child hadn’t been so hungry, we definitely would have left without looking back.

Fortunately, the waitress who served us was reasonably polite. She saved the situation and helped to make up for the extremely unprofessional waiter, salvaging some of the restaurant’s image. However, we have no intention of returning to dine here again.

Ordered steaks here since it has the best steaks in town.

I ordered ribeye and sirloin and asked to change to fries. It came with baked potato still and after told them that it was wrong then they took the baked potato and brought the fries after. I had to ask for the sauce for the baked potato cause it was plain baked potato then the staff came and served.

Food was ok, service can be improved. Atmosphere was good, ship theme restaurant as its' name.

not sure whats up with the mediocre rating, but this Ship was better than the other branches ive been to 🥹 staff were sweet and accomodating, calling us 'gentleman' and 'lady', and doing the most nicest things. atmosphere was calm, and the restaurant was spotless. food was superb! ideal dinner spot, would come again ❤️‍🩹

The experience with this restaurant it was amazing the food I would say it was great. The atmosphere great at the service. It was great special point for me. It was once we activator to to provide some more lemon instead of giving some small pieces of lemon they provide I would say lots of lemon which was great because you know once you ask something about the waiter about something that’s the point for a good restaurant to represent the best material enough material to provide a guess, why not?
